The Dunes East Hampton Faculty
An addiction treatment center is only as good as the staff and management team in charge. At The Dunes East Hampton, we have the best of the best in charge. Our clinical protocols were created by Dr. Howard Shafer of Harvard University Medical School, a world-renown addiction specialist. Inspired by the founder and CEO Joe McKinsey, The Dunes management team members are focused on implementing and maintaining the established protocols. As a recovering alcoholic, Mr. McKinsey is well aware of the struggles and needs of others who struggle with dependency.
The faculty at The Dunes East Hampton include the following:
- Director of Regulatory and Legal Affairs, David G. Evans, Esq. brings over 40 years of experience in the area of addictions. As a lawyer, he works closely with addiction treatment programs and governmental affairs regarding drug and alcohol issues. In addition, he is a former research scientist with the New Jersey Department of Health Division of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse. His expertise provides legal and regulatory requirement analysis regarding drug and alcohol abuse, drug testing, and many other aspects of addiction treatment.
- The Dunes East Hampton utilizes the expertise of Henry W. Marks as our Business Strategy Advisor. He comes with a background of more than 20 years in strategic consulting for domestic and international media companies. Our Special Events Director, Leslie McKinsey, comes with considerable skills to enhance the program at The Dunes.
