“The Dunes is a beautiful property,” The Dunes CEO and founder, Joe McKinsey, told The NY Post. “It’s comfortable. We’re looking for a bridge back to the life they destroyed with drugs and alcohol.”
McKinsey, a former alcoholic with over 30 years of sobriety says treatment plans are customized to address the needs of each individual patient through traditional, spiritual and alternative therapies alike.
“I’ve seen some amazing results,” continued McKinsey. “It’s very rewarding to see a person’s life that has been screwed up… turned around.”
A 90-day stint at The Dunes will run patients roughly $105,000. However, due to outside career demands, many patients opt for the $45,000 30-day program; following up with outpatient therapy.
The Dunes also offers scholarships to needy individuals as a show of support to the community.
