Rehabilitation programs are designed to address particular issues, including addiction, drug abuse and eating disorders. In order to ensure a successful outcome, it’s important to understand the different options and services available. In this entry we will discuss the differences between intensive outpatient and intensive inpatient rehab options.
Intensive Inpatient Rehab
Intensive Outpatient Drug Rehab
In addition to our residential program, The Dunes Each Hampton is happy to offer a New York State OASAS licensed Intensive Outpatient program. Outpatient care can be structured around patient schedules, typically requiring several check-ins per week. Treatment is far less intense than our residential program, allowing patients to maintain employment and pursue academic goals while attending.
Inpatient Environment
The environment of our inpatient program is highly defined and structured. Patient progress and health are both closely monitored, allowing patients to experience life without the temptation of drugs and alcohol.
Outpatient Environment
Our outpatient environment offers flexibility. However, because patients reside at home while attending treatment, they may have to work harder to maintain abstinence long-term.
Which One Is For Me?
When determining which program is the best fit, individuals must consider the severity of their addiction and whether they are willing to put in the extra effort at our outpatient program. When in doubt, it never hurts to call ahead.
